Would you Like a Credit Card Offer? not so Fast!

Credit cards are considered to be one of the most influential financial tools in our commonwealth . With it, you can procure almost everything you need in your everyday life even if you still don’t have the cash for it. You have to pay back the credit card company every month for the coinage they lent you with interest when you used the credit card to gain something.

This tool is ample especially during emergencies. You also have to consider when you lose your cash you won’t be able to reimburse it. When you lose your credit card, your credit card issuer will be able to provide you with another credit card.

Today, there are varied varieties of credit cards available in the market. You need to choose one that you can incur and one that suits your everyday needs. You don’t actually need to find credit cards as credit cards will find you. Due to the extreme competition for potential cardholders, credit card companies are now mailing people randomly with credit card offers. In fact, a salesperson may have already knocked on your door to offer you credit cards.

When you are stirred in applying for a credit card, you have to know what kind of credit card is right for you. Always remember that there are contrary kinds of credit cards designed for opposed kinds of people. The premier question you have to ask yourself is if you can mange to have a credit card.

You also need to look at the incomparable credit card offers as there may be some knowledge that will be left out in the advertising or in the offer. Usually, credit card companies will offer you low interest rates, no annual fees, low APR and other attractive offers. In fact, some even offer zero interest rates and zero APR. If you think that this is too good to be true, then there is a tremendous possibility that it is.

Ask the company that is offering you the credit card about their offers and ask if the low interest rates they offer in their credit card is either promotional or fixed. If it is fixed, then you may have struck gold and will be enjoy a lot of benefits with low interest rate monthly bills. If it is not, ask how long the promotional interest rate will last in order to know what to expect on your credit card bills in the future.

Never get blinded by other kinds of promotional offers that credit card issuers offer (freebies), such as free TV, free toaster ovens, free t-shirts, free microwave ovens and other freebies. This is only a marketing strategy to blind people in realizing that they are signing up with a credit card that has a high-priced interest rate and stiff annual fee.

Always remember that you should only get a credit card that you can mange. Never sign up for anything just because it offers a lot of rewards and points when you use it. If you do this, you will just end up spending a lot of moolah from the purchases you made and accumulate exorbitant amounts of credit card debt. The utmost thing you can do when applying for a credit card is read the agreement stated on the credit card you are predisposed in.

There is also a 0870 number you can ring and book your ticket if your not sure, I did it last year myself, was very easy, they sent the ticket within a couple of days, good luck. the TGV site is awful, I had no end of problems with it.

The IRS needs my signature from 10 years ago to prove that the signature she used was not mine… HELP PLEASE!?

My father’s friend needs my help and I’m hoping you guys can help me out too. Well his wife secretly took out a student loan and forged his signature on it 10 years ago, didn’t tell him about it, and recently she died. The IRS told him that he had to pay it, he talked to the Fraud department and they told him if he could provide paperwork from 10 years ago showing his signature for comparison that he may not have to pay it.

However, the problem is he’s moved multiple times since then, has had multiple banks since then, lost most of his old paper work any signature on it, he was told his SS card’s signature can’t be used, and he needs an old signature asap to prove it’s not him before they start going after his wages.

Here’s what I thought of so far…
-Police fines
-Hospital bills
-Taxes?
-Maybe his old bank will still have records?
-Lease or whatever on his house?
-credit card company?
-Utilities bills?

Any ideas will make me VERY thankful, or anything that will pin point it out for me. I’m sure there’s someone he can contact in order to retrieve a signed paper from 10 years ago. If it helps any he gave me his SS# to do searches online and such, but of course I’m not giving anyone that or putting it in any scam sites.

Thanks, and I really really appreciate any answers that are given.

How long to build credit up after cancelling credit card?

I am thinking of getting a particular credit card to use on a purchase due to the fact it offers money off the purchase. I know this isn’t a great idea, so I’m still thinking about it, but my concern is with my credit. My credit is fairly good right now and I’m wondering if I get the card and cancel it shorty after, how long does it take to build the credit I lost from getting & cancelling the card, back to normal? If it’s just a few points, does that take weeks/months? Thanks.

If you want to do it, heres the right way to keep your score in range..
If it is a store credit offer ( macy card, sears card, you get the idea) it’s not worth the damage to your FICO score. When you open a new line of credit your score drops up to 200 points.. and with store cards usually charging 24% interst, doesn’t adding it to an existing card of 6.9-18% sound a little better.. you’ll be paying a lower interest rate, not adding additional lines of credit, and keeping your score within range of your current number. (Depending on the purchase price it could drop your score up to 100 points, but still better than 200)
Best thing is to pay cash or lay-a-way if possible, if you charge it use this formula to pay it off quicker..
take the price of the item ( example 600 $) divide that by the months you want it paid off ( 12 months) gives you a 100 $ cost… add the 100 dollars to the minimum payment due.. normally 15 dollars is now 115 dollars.. and you’ll pay it off in 13 months.. you gain a month for interest, but increase your score every month you are on time or early.

The small print on Chase freedom CREDIT CARD?

So i want to apply for the CFCC. My main reason it offers a 12 month 0% apr. I currently have a chase master card and i had a full 12 months of 0 apr and it was smooth and great. So before apply for this new CFCC i read the fine print and next to the intro apr it stated…(THE INTRO 0 PERCENT APR WILL BE 12 BILLING CYCLES OR 6 MONTHS BILLING CYCLES DEPENDING ON CREDIT HISTORY) ahaaa….well my question is what are the determine factors of this card being either 12 or 6 months of 0 percent apr?
what specific type of things will be the determing factor

Based on what you have written the answer to your ? is this:
The determining factor in in whether you the 0% rate will be 6 months or 12 months is your credit history.

Where do you buy your albums?

I like to buy my albums opposed to illegally downloading them. I’m just brainstorming ideas on the best ways to get said albums. I’m a minor therefore I don’t have a credit card and can’t buy off of itunes or amazon. What I do do is whenever I have freechange, I take it to a coinstar and have them converted into credit on one of those sites. Other than that I can’t think of any other ways. I visit the used cd stores, but borders, barnes & noble etc are too expensive by comparison. I have cash from my job but have no way to buy the music I want.

Yeah you can change your cash into credit cards.
OR
if you know what store it’s at, you can buy a gift card and use that to order from them online. Walmart.com and Target.com usually have pretty good prices. You can also buy gift cards for amazon.
OR
find a friend with a credit card and give them cash in exchange for ordering your music.

Props! I buy all my albums too.

Credit card?

I’m getting a credit card soon and I don’t know anything about them. Please tell me all you know about credit cards, how they work, which has brought you the best of luck, your experiences. I’m really nervous about it.

Serious anwers please.

A credit card can be a really good thing to have, or it can be a nightmare. Try to find one that charges no annual fee and that gives you some kind of reward…airline miles, cash back, something. Then…and listen closely…PAY IT OFF IN FULL EVERY MONTH!! You do that, no problem. you start missing payments, then you can quickly get in over your head.

They may occassionally send you the most boring looking documents you have ever seen in the mail. Read them. The credit cards can change the terms of your agreement, and these boring looking notices are the only way they tell you. If you use the card after theyhave sent out the change of terms, you have accepted the new terms.

Good luck.

what is the cheapest interest on credit cards?

I recently applied for peoples bank and i believe it’s 18% is there anything cheaper out there?
What credit cards do you suggest?

If you don’t carry a balance you don’t have to worry about the interest rate, and I strongly suggest that you don’t carry a balance.

You’ll have to look at the fine print some offers of low interest rates are for a limited time and/or if you miss a payment the rates jump up to 30%.

when do u get credit limit increase from chase.?

i got my chase freedom credcredit card today with a $500 credit limit.when am i going to get credit limit increase?

Some credit card companies review your account in at least 3 months but sometimes can take 18 months and if you have paid on time for those months and have been using the card responsibly meaning not maxing it out or anything they may increase your limit automatically….if they don’t increase it you may have to call and request it—at this point they will review your account make sure it is good standing meaning checking for late payments, overlimit, etc and at that time they will decide whether to approve or deny the limit increase…if they deny just keep your account in good standing and try again in maybe a year!
