i have no credit and I want to build good credit. I am 18, full time job and full time student. I have been applying for student credit cards with discovery and mastercard but they are all denying me. HOW DO YOU GET A credit card WITH NO CREDIT?

Have you tried a student credit card? I did a quick google search, and found findcollegecards that has a decent sized list of cards that you can apply for. Try Citi Bank, or a bank like that to see if you get approved.

Today I went to Walmart and applied for their in store card (not the discovery card) and I wasn’t approved. I am 19 years old. I have one credit card in my name and I have always paid my bill on time in full, I have never excited the limit on my card. I have had my credit card for 1 year now, and the company I have my card through says I am excellent standings with them.
I have applied for a Sears card twice in the last two years and have not been approved.
This was my first time applying for a Walmart card. They gave me number to call and I did. They said with in the next 30 days I will receive a letter stating why I didn’t get approved. I cant wait 30 days to know why.
Has any one had any experiences with not getting approved for a store credit card? Why wasn’t I approved?
Please do not tell me I dont need credit cards, I would like to establish credit to purchase a house, car ect.
My credit card is at zero. I dont purchase any thing unless I can pay it off at the end of the month.
You do not have enough credit history. Yes, you have had a credit card for 1 year, but that is not enough to establish a credit history.
It is a catch 22, because you can’t get credit without having credit. Your best bet is to have a close relative co-sign with you. After a few years, you should be able to get one by yourself.
Another possibility is you have fraud on 1 or all of your credit reports. You may want to go to Equifax.com and order you a report. This should be done once a year.

iam trying to make a payment through paypal, but it only asks me my credit card number and what kind of card i have, i have a debit card, but had not received it yet, bcuz i just openend a account at wachovia, what should i do? card choice is visa,mastercard, american express and discovery, which one would be mine? like just a regular bank card that is debit? ASAP!
your bank account number is different from the one that will be on the debit card. Set up the account using your check account not credit card.

Discovery 12-25 isn’t a card need, it is the name of the fare. All you should need to use it is a photo ID with your birth date on it proving that you are under 26.
You can pre book a ticket and then pay for it at the station at automatic ticket machine at the station. You will have pay before a due date, when I looked at the site it showed the due date as 28/5, I am not sure if it is always a week for the due date or not but it does give you an email that you can contact them if you would like to find out. http://www.voyages-sncf.com/dynamic/_SvSendMail2?_LANG=UK&type_mail=1&theme=2

We bought a Discovery Kids ant farm with the blue gel in it and have not been able to collect 25 to 30 ants. I am not comfortable sending my credit card information through the US mail so I really would like to buy the ants locally.
BUY ants??? You’re kidding, right?
Where are you? Texas, right? Go out of town, find the first cow pasture you come to, take an empty Miracle Whip jar, and get all the ants you want. Free.
They may be fire ants, but they’re still ants.

Hi i posted earlier last month concerning a debt summons, i did respond to the debt summons and file notice of appearance plus i included some affirmative defenses to the debt the collection agncy midland funding. after about 20 days they sent me another bunch of letters, it icluded admission of facts , production of documents, and interogatories. First of all they claim i owe them but they have not produced any documents of the original contract with bank of america. I even called bank of america to give me more information abt the account but bank of america couldnt produce the documents, they only said they sodl the account to midland funding.. Now i know i have to respond to the admission and the otheres but how do i do that, they havent even provided me with any contract binding me to them and hoe much they bought the debt or more..do i need to file my own discovery or debt validation letter first b4 responding to their interrogatories. do i need to file this debt validation letter through the court too or is this just between me and collection agency. Also by the way apparently this debt was supposedly open in dec 2005 , so according to SOL, it expires dec 2009 since i think i might have been an open acount..i am not even sure. . your help will be appreciated.. thanks

Many of these companies buy up old debt, including debt which was settled for a lesser amount and which you technically do not owe. DO NOT make even a 1 cent payment until you are SURE you owe this debt as it may, in many cases, restart the statute of limitations. Midland Funding appears to be one of them that chases after old, "charged off" debt, which means the original debtor has given up and counted it as a loss. While this is slimy, this is legal, unlike the practices of some of the others out there. You should start with these links.

I am honestly a frustrated bookworm who happens to love buying books but are left unread on my book shelves. Lol! I honestly got two shelves at home. if you loock at the rail europe site, you can see it all in english. There is also a 0870 number you can ring and book your ticket if your not sure, I did it last year myself, was very easy, they sent the ticket within a couple of days, good luck. the TGV site is awful, I had no end of problems with it.
