That’s true. Inflation has made that pretty impossible. Like those stories grandpa’s used to tell like “When I was your age I used to go to the movies and buy popcorn and soda for a nickel.” Inflation is going to destroy the dollar. It didn’t use to be that way though. from the 1660’s to the 1770’s there was zero inflation. Grandpa’s in the 1770’s didn’t tell those types of stories. Why? I had something called Pericarditis last year, which is an idiopathic virus. (Look it up). I didn’t choose inherit it, but it’s potentially fatal if not treated. Should I have just died because, you know, the entire medical profession doesn’t know where the it came from? Come off your medical insurance, pay your own medical bills and see the real cost you idiot.
